The Way
The heart of our
relationship to the Living God through His Son,
Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, is our self denial for
Christ to live through us. But the Lord is not living
his personality through us, but His life through our
personalities. Our task as believers is to learn to
consciously cooperate with the work of our Saviour by
His Spirit in our lives. Learning to know His
voice, and understanding His good character is step
one. All believers who are born again are led
by His Spirit subconciously in their hearts. But the
work of Jesus is facilitated when we consciously
cooperate. Understanding the Bible is the obvious
starting point. But cults read about Jesus through the
Bible and get nothing out of it. Hearing God speak
through the Bible is the goal.
Step 2 is to
understanding who you are that God has created, to
identify your purpose and destiny. Understanding your
personal giftings will help in understanding the call
of God in your life. The Discipleship pages are
dedicated to these goals. To further help in these
goals, the Library has free electronic books in PDF
format by significant Christian authors from ages past.
These resources are chosen to aid the individual
believer in their journey of discipleship.

The Way of Self Denial
The heart of the way of
discipleship is bearing our cross daily.
Christian maturity is not growth, but removal.
The crucifying of the old man so that Christ may
live through us daily. The appearance of growth
is in the need of the Lord to break our outer
man, and the elements deep in our heart that are
rooted that only He understands.
