People laugh at the idea of a conspiracy because the Conspiracy encourages that response. But the truth is, conspiracy is the norm for all of human history. There was a conspiracy against Julius Caesar.

The Federal Reserve was born of a conspiracy. The Enron debacle was a conspiracy. Adulterous relations are conspiracies.

There is a conspiracy to set up a global government, and there is a conspiracy to destroy Christianity. Christians who scoff at such thoughts have their heads in the sand. This very scoffing at conspiracy is the work of the conspirators to hide themselves.

And there is no doubt that the number 1 conspirator of the church is Satan. However, he and his legion of demons have used men throughout history as "ministers of righteousness" (2 Cor. 11:15. The most damaging secular world view by far has come from Lucifer's servant, Charles Darwin. But the assault goes deeper and has a longer history than Darwin's contribution to human misery. It precedes the founding of the American Republic. It is a conspiracy of whose love of money is root of all evil (1 Tim 6:10). It goes back to the Catholic Church and the first European bankers.
